This article discusses the basic methods of radiation protection. The paper presents the main stages of each method. In addition, it focuses on the knowledge of specific methods to protect against certain types of radiation. Types of materials used for the protection of their use are discussed in paper. Applicationprotection in emergency situations. Finally, innovations in the development of dosimetry are presented in the article. The article is of interest to scholars and students related to nuclear technology.
