There is a good basis for the development of engineering education in Russia. First of all, Russia has a large number of engineering institutions with competent teaching staff and sufficient equipment, enabling future engineers in training to obtain the necessary knowledge. But to date, Russia has a number of problems in engineering education. This paper presents possible solutions to these problems.
