Diazonium salts chemistry developed in polar medium of over the years, while their chemical behavior in nonpolar media has been little-studied due to their low solubility. Aromatic diazonium salts with lipophilic anion may be deprived of this disadvantage. We were first obtained diazonium salt of dodecylsulphonic acid -arendiazonium dodecylsulfate (ADDS), which have good solubility in nonpolar solvents, high reactivity as well as unique stability in aqueous solutions due to tendency to form micellar structures.
