A review of methods and opportunities for obtaining radionuclide 186Re presented. Rhenium-186, have a half-life of 90.64 h, is an important radionuclide for using in metabolic radiotherapy and radio immunotherapy. Opportunities for production of beta-and gamma-emitting radionuclide 186Re were evaluated for current cyclotron complex of Tomsk Polytechnic University. Productivity rate of 186Re on cyclotron U-120 is sufficient to meet current and future needs of Tomsk and Siberia region.
