The purpose of the current work is to research defects influence on the luminescence of ZnSe crystals grown in various technological conditions and having different impurity. The practical importance of the work is defined by the possibility of Zink Selenide crystals is used to form scintillator, x-ray and gamma ray detectors. Luminescencespectral-kinetic characteristics of doped zinc selenide monocrystals are studied in the work. They were produced by flux growth. The samples differed in a deviation from stoichiometry and impurity content. The results of the research showed that the best crystal to create a detector is ZnSe(Ga), ZnSe(Si) и ZnSe(Te).
