The nanocrystalline coatings on the basis of silver-doped hydroxyapatite were prepared by RF magnetron sputtering. The morphology, structure, elemental and phase composition of the films were studied. It was shown that thin films with the thickness of up to 400 nm due to chemical composition are similar to the composition of the target for sputtering. The additional electrical bias on the substrate leads to compaction of the coating andgrinding of its structure, which is confirmed by SEM, EDAX and spectroscopic ellipsometry. An increase in the potential drop in the anode dark sheath leads to an increase in the Ca/P ratio.
