Definition of chemical composition of a product and distribution of elements on surface and in bulk has great importance for many applications. The surface composition determines many important parameters: appearance, corrosion resistance, adhesion, conductivity, etc., while the bulk is important for strength and lifetime of the product. GD-OES is used to solve many real industrial problems. It provides rapid, direct bulk and simultaneous analysis of all elements of interest including carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen and chlorine. RF-GD-OES defines both the surface and bulk composition quickly and with high sensitivity to all elements, for almost all solid materials, including metals, metal alloy coatings, semiconductors, polymer coatings, glass, etc. GD-OES is ideal for semiconductor and other high-tech industries.
