|a The Forum at Tomsk is meant to strengthen the already established contacts of all German partners and to identify topics which might lead to joint R&D clusters or project groups. Strategies to integrate young academics of both countries into the process will be discussed. The topics were chosen according to the recommendations of the German-Russian Working Group "Nanotechnology" in accordance with the thematic calls of the Seventh Framework Programme of the EU and the priority programmes of the Federal Ministries of Education and Research in Germany and Russia.
