The basic notions of classical electrodynamics of condensed media are studied: Maxwell's equations in electrodynamics, electrical and magnetic properties of substance, electromagnetic wave propagation, the radiation of charged particles in vacuum and media, the influence of strong bunches on condensed media. The study aid is developed in the framework of Innovative Educational Programme of the TPU on the direction “Atomic power engineering, nuclear fuel cycle, safe handling with radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel, accident prevention and counter-terrorism”, and can be useful for the students majoring in other physical specialties.
